About Nicole
Hi, I’m Nicole, an Accredited Practising Dietitian and the dietitian behind Perth Dietetic Clinic.
I believe good nutrition care should be practical, individualised and guided by best practice.
My approach is collaborative and focused on problem solving. Together, we work through what may be contributing to your concerns, make sense of nutrition, and develop strategies that feel realistic and achievable in everyday life.
I work with people across a range of areas, including:
Gut Health including IBS and Chronic constipation
Type 2 Diabetes and Metabolic Health
Weight Management
Women’s Health
Sports Nutrition
Building Healthy Relationships with Food
Nutrition Support in Aging
I have worked across both the public and private healthcare sectors, with experience in inpatient, outpatient and community dietetics. My clinical work has included supporting people with a wide range of health concerns in hospital settings, as well as working within specialised services such as a liver clinic. This experience has given me a good foundation and an understanding of how nutrition care needs to be adapted to each person’s medical history, symptoms, lifestyle and stage of care.
Nutrition can become overwhelming, particularly when you’re managing a health condition or receiving conflicting advice. My role is to help cut through the noise, explain the evidence in a way that makes sense, and translate it into practical recommendations that are relevant to you.
Through Perth Dietetic Clinic, I provide Telehealth consultations in Perth and across Australia, including those referred by a GP or other health professionals.
My approach is simple: Understand the bigger picture, use the evidence, and find practical nutrition strategies that work for you.
Qualifications
I hold a Master of Dietetics and a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition and am registered as an Accredited Practising Dietitian.
Monash University low FODMAP certification
How you can work with me
-
We’ll talk through your current lifestyle, nutrition habits, and what you’re hoping to improve. Whether that’s health related goals, improving energy, recovery, weight loss or feeling more confident with your nutrition.
This is also a chance for you to ask questions and get a feel for how I work and what ongoing support might look like.
There’s no pressure or obligation, just a space to explore what you need and whether it’s the right fit. -
We will identify key priorities and start building a clear, practical strategy to support your goals.
This includes personalised nutrition guidance tailored to your needs, with a strong focus on education so you understand the why behind each recommendation, helping you build confidence and long-term sustainability.Following your appointment, you’ll receive a personalised meal plan along with tailored resources such as meal and snack ideas and practical tools to help you implement your plan with ease.
The aim of the initial consultation is to give you clear direction, practical strategies, and a strong foundation to build on in follow-up sessions as we continue refining your nutrition to support your goals.
-
We’ll go over what’s been working well, what hasn’t felt quite right, and any changes in your training load, lifestyle, or goals since your last appointment. This helps ensure your nutrition plan continues to align with your current needs.
From there, we’ll make any necessary adjustments to your meal plan, fuelling strategies, and nutrition targets. This may include refining timing around training, updating portion sizes, or introducing new practical strategies to improve consistency, recovery, or performance.
Education remains a key focus in every review, helping you build confidence and understanding so you can continue making informed choices independently.
You’ll also receive updated resources or a revised meal plan where needed, ensuring you leave with clear, actionable steps moving forward.
